The envisionCAM™ product is an Event Data Recorder that records High Definition video of accidents and aggressive driving. Events are recorded 20 seconds before the event and 30 seconds after for a total of 50 seconds. Events are automatically transferred to a specified computer or server when the device is within range of a specific wireless network. The envisionCAM™ product has a dual lens to capture both, the interior of the vehicle and the front of the vehicle. The device is mounted to the windshield behind the rear view mirror. The external GPS receiver uses SiRF Star III technology to maximize the GPS sensitivity for superb accuracy and signal strength. Video is reviewed using our Simple, intuitive, and powerful software which includes a custom player to review videos with precise control, Google™ Earth integration that plots the path and includes markers, and many other impressive features. Our software also includes a separate Event Transfer Manager that manages downloads in the background. |
